It was a wonderful holiday with our family! Today begins preparations for Christmas. We hope to put up our family Christmas tree. Above is a snapshot of me that my hubby took after Thanksgiving dinner cleanup. Can you see the relief in my eyes? My son is begging me to toss the football with him. YAHOO! Christmas is coming!

  5. Such a beautiful layout! I deary miss having white Christmas's. We are prepping our home this weekend. Lights, tree, garlands the works.
My 5 year old and I get the honor of dragging out the life size nativity and setting it up in the yard. It was passed down from my grandmother to me. She purchased it the Christmas after I was born. Wow! It is hard to beleive it has been on display for almost 50 years this year.
    Happy Holidays!

  10. Heidi, it's really nice to see you! Hi =) Yesterday I started with my Christmas decoration. The whole flat it full of decoration which still needs their places, but today I'll work with them again. I'll show pictures on my blog when I have finished everything! We will buy our tree on Dec. 23th and decorate it the same day.

    Have a wonderful 1st advent

  17. I have been getting ready for Christmas for weeks already! I live in Canada with my hubby and 3 1/2 yr old son but my entire family live in South Georgia/Florida/and Arizona. (I have a huge family!) This is the first year that I have made cards for my family and I want each one to be different. I have made 25 and have about 35 left to do and they need to be done NOW! I have pulled all the decorations from the attic and basement and my little one has been helping by pulling everything out of the boxes! We will get the decorations up but I think I need to wait until he's sleeping!

  18. We create several wreaths with my mom, I have candles all around the house, have a glass bowl full of baubles and "snow" on our coffee table etc. It's gonna be our first Christmas together with my boyfriend in our new home, so I really want it to be special.
